It is often a long and laborious process to bring a new technology from the laboratory to the market. According to Stephanie Lacour, head of the Laboratory for Soft Bioelectronic Interfaces (LSBI) at EPFL, “These discoveries can be so far ahead of the curve that finding an industry partner willing to do the development work is practically impossible”. Our team from EPFL has simplified this process by developing a breakthrough protocol to test, optimise and validate new technologies like the one developed at LSBI. This method is described in a paper published in the journal Advanced Materials. Check also our article in the front page of the EPFL news!
